Queen Elizabeth II. visits Frankfurt

When i heard in April this year that Queen Elizabeth II. and the Duke of Edinburgh would make a Visit to Frankfurt during their State Visit to June i took the decision to go there as it would probably be the only chance to see both of them. I travelled the day before to Darmstadt where i meet some friend and together we bvisted the  to the Castles and royal sides there. Early on Thursday moring we took the tran to Frankfurt and arrived at the Place before the römer around 7h30. At that time we could not go into the Security Arrea direct before the Römer. After waiting for around 2 hours we finally were let in going through an Security check. Luckily i got a place in the first row with a good view on the Balcony of the Römer.Onme of the first guests who arrved where Landgrave Donatus and Ladgravine Floria of Hessen. A bit later came Prince Ludwig and Princess Marianne of Baden and the last from the relatives where Margrave Max and Margravine Valerie of Baden.
On a screen sometimes images of the Live-Brodacast of the ARD where shown. So we could see when the plane left Berlin. At the moment it arrived in Frankfurt the Live-Images where shown. Soon the Bells of the St. Pauls Chruch began to ring. We could see that the federal President Joachim Gauck and the Prime Minister of Hesse Volkier Boffier and the psouses/partners had already arrived at the Church. The we spotted a Helicopter flying over us. On their way to the St. Pauls Church the carl with the Queen and the Duke of Eindburgh passed the street at the End of the Römer Square and one could could see the Duke of Edinburgh as he had opened his windwos and was seating at the side of the Car facing the Square.  After their Visit of the St Pauls Church thje Queen and the Duke of Edinbrugh accompaneid by federal President Joachim Gauck his partner Daniela Schadt and the Porime Minister of Hesse Volker Bouffier with his wife Ursula walked the short way from the St. Pauls Church to the Römer. When they arrived alll aved with their flags who had been handed out before. Soon the entourage was inside the Römer. At the beginning some images from the start of the Dinner where shown on the Live-Screen but when the Dinner was served the Camera had to go out. No another wait begun. After around 1,5 hours then it was time for the big Balcony appearance. After signing the Golden Book of the city Frankfurt the Royal Couple came out on the Balcony. First the Duke of Edinbrugh with Mrs. Schadt and soon later the Queen. The also waved to the enthusiastic crowd. After a few mintues the Balcony appearnace was over. And arounrd 15 minuntes later the Royal Couiple left the Römer again and walked slowly to the Car who was waiting at the End of the red Carpet. And then all was over.
